Liza & Kevin’s Wedding Extended Highlights
This is the first of three posts from the same wedding film. This piece runs for 50 minutes, and is designed for family viewing. It is a little more unusual than most of my posts here. Late in 2009 Liza asked me to film her wedding to Kevin. Nothing unusual about that? As their story unfolded, it was clear that this was going to be a special occasion. The way in which Liza and Kevin got together was highly unusual, and very romantic. Their families both live in Malaysia, and it was not possible for any of them to be at their wedding in England. The budget for the whole day was tiny. Not only were they getting married in church with their 40 friends and catering for a three course meal in a pub nearby, Liza and Kevin were going to spend 40% of their budget on having their day captured on video by me so their families could share in the happy occaision. No pressure then! We had lots of talks about how we were going to go about making the film as personal and ‘as if you were here’ as we could. We decided to shoot the church ceremony partly from the ‘point of view’ of someone sitting in the front row of the pews and to use stills taken by various people throughout the day, especially at the two ‘getting ready’ locations, which we couldn’t film at as well.
Liza & Kevin Wedding Highlights and Photo Slideshow
This is the second, shorter, highlights of Liza and Kevin’s wedding Day, plus the slide show of photographs from the day and the past which Liza put together.
Liza & Kevin’s Wedding DVD Slideshow
This clip is simply Liza;s slideshow of photos from her’s and Kevin’s pasts, their time together since they met, and some pictures from their lovely wedding day.
It was my pleasure to have been a part of their day.

Emma & David Wedding Day Highlights
Back in August this year (on my birthday) we travelled the short 15 miles to Turners Hill in West Sussex to capture the wedding day of Emma and David at the splendid and luxurious Alexander House Hotel & Spa. From the sumptuous drawing room where the wedding ceremony was held to the glorious gardens which hosted the drinks reception on a lovely sunny day, the Alexander did Emma and David proud. Speaking of proud, Emma was very proud of David, who, turned out in his Army dress uniform, looked handsome and dashing. David, in turn, was bowled over when he saw just how beautiful is bride Emma looked. In all theirs’ was a beautiful day to have been a part of.

Cheryl and Gregors Honeymoon Pics
I love adding couple’s honeymoon photos to their wedding film. To me it completes the whole circle. Seeing the couple, as with Cheryl and Gregor, with their choice of music, relaxed after the tensions of their wedding day, is a real delight as their film maker. I also love their (Cheryl’s) choice of song. I was also stunned by the number of outfits Cheryl managed to wear, especially bikini tops. So cool.

Cheryl & Gregor Wedding Highlights
On a sunny September day, we were at Weybridge Register Office and Holloway University to film the wedding of Cheryl and Gregor. The Register Office made for a good ceremony location, with nice gardens for some photographs, courtesy of Donna Giddings. Holloway University is an imposing Victorian building with a huge quadrangle, which made for a great space for the guests to mingle and for some more photography. The huge dining hall was a great space for the speaches, and great to film in, offering lots of good quality light.

Vanisha & Ashwin’s Hindu Ceremony
Vanisha & Ashwin’s choice of venue, Tewin Bury Farm, was inspired. The venue provided more than sufficient space for an outdoor wedding with a civil ceremony and a Hindu ceremony with dining and dancing space for 200 guests without the need to reset rooms.
Vanisha & Ashwin and their families were great fun to work with, and the whole day and evening was just perfect. The Hindu ceremony was the highlight for us, providing so much colour and depth that anyone with three cameras would had a field day, which we did.
